REBEL Club

This video showcases what the Rebel Club at Olathe Northwest is all about. I wanted to do this video because something I feel passionate about is promoting positivity and encouragement at school. My friend, Nicki shared with me about the club she was starting and I knew it was a perfect opportunity for others to get involved by putting it on the news for the whole school to see. This video took about two weeks to complete. I loved making this video and thought it turned out well. I learned how important it is to have a thorough plan before going into the video. I also learned when using two camera angles to make sure it follows the rule of thirds.

ONW NOW Opener

This video is an opener for our schools weekly news show, ONW NOW. I loved getting to produce it. This video took a few weeks to make due to planning, storyboarding, filming, collaborating with animation, and getting input of others. Overall I think the opener turned out great. I learned a lot from creating this video, such as time management and meeting deadlines can be more difficult when relying on others to help and how big of a role animation and graphic design play in videos.

Lego Builder: Ben Whitney

This video is about Ben Whitney, a sophomore at Olathe Northwest who enjoys creating with legos. I produced this video because I heard of his unique hobby and wanted others to hear too. This video took about a week to make, with some complications along the way. Overall this video turned out well but could have included more interviews and content to make it more interesting. I learned to double check your camera and SD card before going to film, to avoid interruptions.
